Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial start of summer and Las Vegas is a great place to celebrate the occasion.
This year, the city will play host to amazing parties, incredible performances, and much more. Not to mention, the weather is expected to be perfect for spending time outside soaking up some of the desert rays. Here are our picks for the best events for celebrating Memorial Day weekend in Downtown Vegas and some tips to ensure your Memorial Day experience is enjoyable and safe.
Plaza Pool Nights
The Plaza’s new rooftop pool is one of the best spots to enjoy Memorial Day Weekend. The Pool at the Plaza brings a whole new rooftop pool experience to the downtown scene. With over 70,000 square feet of relaxation and entertainment, the Pool at the Plaza is one of the largest pool decks in downtown Las Vegas. Guests can enjoy our newly refurbished wet deck, recreation facilities, and onsite food truck.
While other pool parties will cost upwards of $50 to get in, the Pool at the Plaza will be free all summer long.
Come down to the Pool at the Plaza on May 27th to hear live DJ’s spinning your favorite songs, relaxing night swimming, and fireworks to mark this special occasion. Loung in style and comfort by the pool on our renovated wet deck featuring plenty of chaise lounge chairs and lily pad daybeds for guests.
If you’re looking for the full lounge experience, there are also six brand new cabanas available for rent. These cabanas provide a private pool-side retreat and access to all the activities. Each cabana has it’s own TV, fan, refrigerator, and more.
